Creo que son canciones conservadoras en un sentido muy amplio: "What makes a great conservative rock song? The lyrics must convey a conservative idea or sentiment, such as skepticism of government or support for traditional values". "Revolution" de los Beatles si entra, por ser la canción anti-mamerta por excelencia. "Rock the Casbah" de The Clash, creo que la hicieron conservadora... y "Bodies" de los sex pistols no es precisamente anti-aborto. "Hereoes" de Bowie, aunque la pongan en la campaña de Pilsen (en la versión pútrida del hijo de Dylan), es mi canción emancipatoria de la vida: todos podemos ser héroes al menos por un día. Por música y letras, creo que debieron meter mucho pero mucho metal. No hay nada más conservador que el metal malo, con todas esas letras medievales y sexistas, y esa música llena de virtuosismo vacío. Por ahí también entraría mucho rap mtv.
